Our work
Our organization started in 2018 with meetings in Union County. We go to different events in North Carolina to help families get the information and resources they need. We created a group to support people and make sure they don't feel alone. We have online and in-person activities like tables at resource fairs and events for families to have fun. We held our first conference and helped other groups who want to do the same as us.

Participation in resource fairs.
Participating in resource fairs and health events provides an excellent opportunity to offer valuable information and services to the community. In addition, community events serve as a platform for families to become familiar with public and private organizations, their resources and programs that contribute to the health, wellness and overall well-being of all people.

Social events with families
Our organization is dedicated to facilitating social connections between families and reducing feelings of isolation. We provide safe and engaging activities for children and youth with diverse conditions to foster friendships and promote inclusiveness. Our mission is to strengthen our community by promoting social engagement and connection. We cordially invite you to join us in this important work.

Conference "Let's Talk About Special Abilities"
Held in June 2024, the conference aimed to provide Hispanic/Latino families with comprehensive information, resources and guidance to improve awareness in the education and health care systems for people with disabilities. We are committed to making a significant contribution to our community through this event.

Partnership with other support groups
Our organization offers support and resources to other support groups, such as information sharing, training sessions and organizational support. By partnering with other support groups, we can all benefit from each other's experience and expertise.
